The drawstring is a roughly 5m long cord which connects the net to the grip.
The NetLauncher ST-S and NetLauncher AL Type II-S have drawstrings. After a criminal has become entangled in the net, the net can be drawn closed by pulling forward on the grip, to which the drawstring is connected. This further entangles the criminal.
